Apply knowledge in practice to initially familiarize with future professions and adapt to changes in work environment. 8. | Teaching, learning, and evaluation strategy | On the training methods - Lecturers combine the use of modern teaching methods, in accordance with the credit training method and CDIO approach to help students achieve the standard output of the module and the general standard output of the training program; - Consider students the center of the training process to promote their autonomy. Lecturers must strengthen the role of organization, guidance, orientation and control in learning activities, creative thinking activities and skill training for students in order to actively acquire knowledge and accomplish main targets required by the training program; - Strengthen active teaching methods to raise self-awareness in learning, self-study capacity; develop creative thinking, practice professional skills, improve teamwork skills, skills of finding, assessing information, presenting and discussing; focus on training self-study methods to create habits, passion and learning ability; - Promote extracurricular activities, internship programs, and practical experience in the training process to provide practical knowledge for students. On the learning methods - Students need to enhance self-study and teamwork; - Students create their own learning schedule accordingly, and must learn as a desire to explore and have academic passion; learn to understand; learn to self-study; learn to acquire practical skills and practical attitudes in future career; learn to acquire creative, active and independent attitudes in awareness and action; - Students have to acquire the competence of using modern technology equipment, foreign language, information technology to support their learning. One the examination and evaluating methods - Examination and evaluation include: Evaluating students by input results; Evaluating students’ academic progress through a score/chart/learning profile matrix stating students’ abilities and through training programs designed based on outputs; Final evaluation of students’ graduation; - Lecturers need to use different methods of examination and evaluation in accordance with the module outline for regular assessment, mid-term examination, and evaluation of the end of the module. The scope and indicators of assessment plans must be clear and disseminated to all related subjects. Standards applied in assessment plans must be transparent and consistent throughout the training program; - Functional units apply appropriate procedures to ensure valid, reliable, and equal examination and evaluating plans. |
| Guide to the implementation of the program | The training program at the bachelor’s degree in Business Law is applied for candidates who have passed the annual university entrance exam to VNU. Students entering the program will be introduced to the entire curriculum at the start of the course and will also be instructed to register the selected modules. On the basis of the approved training program, the Department of Education and Training develop a study schedule for the entire course, including the schedules for each class, each course with the course list of each semester according to the order of the training program. The study plan for each school year is published on the following channels: VNU (for report); the Board of Faculty; Relevant units in VNU; Units of the Faculty; Head Lecturers of classes; Classes of students; Website of the Faculty. The departments assign lecturers for classes according to the study schedule of the school year and propose exam forms. Dean of the Department decides the form of examination. After completing all the modules of all knowledge blocks in the training program, students will be awarded a bachelor’s degree in Business Law signed by the President of VNU. |

3.2. Note for modules that belong to the General Knowledge in VNU
- Foreign language modules: (Foreign language 1; Foreign language 2; Foreign language 3) 14 credits: Students can choose to enroll in the module or not according to the schedule of the Faculty, but must participate in the evaluation of proficiency to pass the module and get output standards (B1 level) before graduation.
- Physical Education module: 04 credits, students enroll 01 credit/semester, in the first and second year.
- National Defense Education module: 08 credits, studying for 1 month in the second semester of the first year at Dormitory No. 4 - Hoa Lac.
- Soft skill module: 03 credits, studying according to the schedule of the Human Resource Development Center - VNU.

The module provides students with the correct worldview and philosophical methodology through the content of dialectical materialism and historical materialism: Presenting the system of Marxism-Leninism is about nature, society and people, the relationship between nature, society and people; the most general rules of movement, development of nature, society and of human thinking. These are very important sectors that regulate economic relations in the fields of currency, credit, banking, payment and foreign exchange. The module equips students with basic theoretical issues about securities, the stock market, clarifies that stock market is one of three types of markets that constitute a financial market, which is essential for students. If in developed countries such as the US, UK, Japan, the stock market and its stock market law are relatively long-established and are important parts of the legal framework in the economy, in Vietnam, the law on securities and securities market is a fairly new legal section, which has not received much attention. This is due to the fact that stock market in Vietnam is a new economic category not only theoretically but also practically.
57. BSL2008; Competition Law: 2 credits
The module provides students with basic knowledge about competition and policies and regulations on competition. The module can help students identify and analyze, assess anti-competitive practices, include anti-competitive agreement, abuse of a dominant position, abuse of monopoly position and economic concentration position; identify and analyze unfair competition practices; understand the regulations on competition management model in Vietnam compared to some countries; understand the regulations on order and procedures for resolving competition cases; understand the legal provisions on handling violations, etc. In addition, the module also helps students to form and develop the ability to collect information, synthesis skills, and systematize problems; skills of comparing, analyzing, commenting, evaluating issues of competition law; initially acquire some skills of market assessment of related products, related goods markets, methods for determining market share and market share combined as a basis for resolving competitive cases and obtaining basic skills in investigation and collection of evidence.
58. INL2003; International Commercial Law: 2 credits
The module provides students with theoretical and practical knowledge of regulations in the field of international trade, including 4 basic content groups: theoretical issues of international trade law; WTO’s fundamental provisions on trade-related goods, services, intellectual property and investment sectors; practical and theoretical legal issues of important international commercial contract transactions, such as international sales contracts, international transport contracts, international insurance contracts, international contracts of transferring technology. It also provides necessary knowledge on issues such as international payment, credit, international e-commerce; theoretical and practical issues on methods to resolve international trade disputes such as negotiation, mediation, arbitration, court.
59. BSL2026; Legal Consultancy Skills: 2 credits
The module equips students with basic skills of legal consultancy in two forms, namely verbal counseling and written advice - counseling letters. Previously, legal advice was only taught in Lawyer training institutions. This is a practical activity of legal profession that law students need to do when they desire to become lawyer in their future. Students are truly engaged in reality, have practical experience which have never been acquired from theory lectures. Legal consultancy skills are often divided by the form of advice or divided into legal relations. By form, they are divided into direct written advice and advice by consulting letter; by relation, legal consultancy skills are different in each field of law such as business law, law of contracts, marriage and family law, etc. With this module, students are facilitated to study and learn legal consultancy skills, from receiving consultancy requests to giving legal opinions and legal solutions for customers to protect their legitimate rights and interests.
60. BSL2025; Accounting Finance Consultancy Skills: 2 credits
The module provides students with certain legal skills to handle jobs in financial, accounting and auditing services. Based on the study of main areas of tax, accounting, auditing, this module will focus on analyzing legal advice situations, assessing the shortcomings of multidimensional legal provisions to protect benefits of business, and legal order. The content of this module includes applying legal regulations on determining income subject to corporate income tax, Value Added Tax Law, Import and Export Tax Law, proposing feasible plans and proposing to protect business interests; applying accounting and auditing legal regulations in auditing financial statements to ensure the accuracy of audit results, proposing to improve the internal financial management mechanism.
61. BSL3045; Labor Disputes and Strike Resolution Skill: 2 credits
The module provides basic skills in resolving labor disputes and strikes. In addition, the module also provides students with a specific knowledge system on labor dispute resolution and strikes and some basic skills such as mediation, lawsuits, etc.
62. BSL2030; Credit Contract Dispute Resolution Skill: 2 credits
The module not only provides students with theoretical knowledge about credit contracts such as concepts, characteristics, legal nature, contents of credit contracts, etc., with comparison with foreign laws, but also studies the application of the law on credit contracts and the skills to resolve disputes arising from this contract by various methods such as negotiation, mediation, court, arbitration.
63. BSL2027; Land Dispute Resolution Skill: 2 credits
The module provides in-depth knowledge of land dispute resolution skills in land management in Vietnam on the distinct basis of public land ownership in our country. Land dispute resolution skills are also expressed in terms of theory and practice of land users’ rights based on drafting skills, counseling skills, management skills and litigation skills. Students then have an overview of administrative procedures in management, land use and implementation of land users’ rights. Students can acquire basic knowledge of land dispute resolution. In addition, this module also provides students with a system of knowledge about land dispute resolution, settlement of land complaints and denunciations, laws on housing and types of land that can be traded in real estate market.
64. BSL2028; Law on Evaluation of Environmental Impact: 2 credits
The module provides students with the legal concepts of environmental impact assessment and the basic contents of the concept, meaning and legal nature of strategic environmental assessment (SEA), environmental impact assessment (EIA) and commitment to environmental protection (CEP); procedures to conduct SEA, EIA and CEP, contents of SEA report and EIA report, content of CEP; decentralization of appraisal and evaluation steps of SEA and EIA report.
65. BSL3040; Law on Saving Insurance: 2 credits
The module provides students with basic theoretical knowledge of deposit, characteristics, purpose, role of deposit insurance, regulated subject of deposit insurance, dispute settlement arising from deposit insurance activities, etc. in comparison with foreign law.
